Graphicsdownunder.com is a website that has been that has been established to share a growing range of vector art and some photography that may be of interest.
The Vector Art started as a hobby when, after searching the web for certain flag images, the ones that where found where incorrect in a vexillological sense or had too many similar objects and needed extra work to be suitable for the vinyl projects for which they were intended. As a result, an interest in Drawing Flag Images and their use and history followed.
All of the vector images on this site have been drawn with a minimum number of objects, which assists in using them for vinyl cutting. These are offered in (.cdr) CoerlDraw version 10 format. The objects in the drawings have also been reduced to basic curves (paths) to make them importable to a much wider range of software. The images are also offered in (.wmf) Windows Meta Format for the importation into documents. ( eg. students can embellish their geography assignments with Flags And Images of the country which they are studying.)
Some PDF files of line drawings are included on the site which can be downloaded, printed and used as children’s colour in sheets.
The photography is of subjects that are either unusual or that may be of use to place in documents or web design.
All of the images on this site are royalty free and may be used by the purchaser as many time as needed in his/her designs or documents but may not be distributed in any electronic form as purchased.
